Hip Hop Cultural Movement

Is it just me or has this decade(2000′s) been totally lame?
I mean thinking back each decade is known for something truly spectacular; A cultural movement of sorts. For instance:
1920s- Swingers, Flappers and prohibition
1930s- Great Depression
1940s- WW2, Great generation
1950s – Back to the future (you know what I mean..lol)
1960s- Peace and love man, Hippie movement, desegregation , fashion
1970s- Disco, Rock, feminism, swingers, fashion
1980s- Heavy metal, michael jackson, fashion
1990s -Grundge, hip hop golden age, you remember the rest
2000s- War, Terrorism, natural disasters, emo’s, horrible music, high school musical.
Probably because everything has been said and done.
Exept technoloy *its still improving*
your right every decade has something it was known for good & bad things but the difference between the generations is they seem to dell with the problems of there world better then we are.
and the worse thing is that people like you & me & all the other people in this generation of ours who give a damn are gonna get lumped in with the rest of these horrible music, high school liking dunba*s’s! the people who want to try & help stop natural disasters are getting crap about it. what really gets me the people who don’t support the war & want to try a different way to stop terrorism are being labeled as unamerican. our generation is gonna be labeled as one of two thing people who want to help find new peaceful ways to do things & are going being labeled as ”unamerican” or will be known for be part of a brain washed society of drowns. i bet anything that the brain wash drones will be in the position to make a difference in the world & there’ll keep things exactly the same & people like us the people who could make a difference in a position of power will never make it ’cause the man will always be keepin’ us down.
there are a good few points to this times i guess we have good toys. thats all i can think of right now.
back to the question. yes my friend i agree, this decade been totally lame.
nothing but bad roll models who need to go to a lingerie store, bad music (all but a few) & trends that aren’t even ours.
