Hip Hop Ambassador
Would you consider Jay-Z to be the ambassador of Hip Hop?
if not him, who would you say is?
remember popularity also factors into that title as well. it’s hard to be the “ambassador” of a genre if no one outside of Underground rap (or rap in general) knows they name. and consider that Jay is on Oprah, Bill Maher, David Letterman, etc. representing hip hop.
I guess i would consider him to be the ambassador of “mainstream” hip-hop, which at this point is really nothing to brag about anymore
