Hip Hop Accessories
hip hop dance and accessories?
I want to start doing hip hop dance classes. The studio does not require any specific clothing except for a studio shirt. I would like to know what else to have (clothes,gloves,accessories,etc.). Is there anything else I should have, like hats?
P.S. I’m a girl.
Just wear some sweat pants with the studio shirt and you will be fine. Don’t worry about accessories in class, unless you are told you need something by your teacher. I have been dancing in hip hop classes for 3 years now and we never needed any props or accessories (we did wear a hat in the recital, but that wasn’t an everyday thing.) If you want to wear a hat, ask the teacher first, it might not be a problem. Gloves are not needed, unless you have breakdance moves in your hip hop class that require them, but you probably won’t. Just bring you and a water bottle to class and you will be fine.
