Do I still have to eat 5-6 meals? Hip Hop Abs DVD?
I have a high metabolism. Do I still need to eat 5-6 meals??
I want to tone up my tummy [Photo below] and was wondering…
Do you think doing Shaun T hip hop Abs DVD will help?
Or should I just jog & do bicycle maneuver?
I’m 5’1 and 110 lbs [Normal range]

To tone your tummy, you will need to do two things. One, is to have good abdominal muscles. But you won’t notice good ab muscles without also losing a little extra flab.
Hip Hop Abs incorporates exercises for both of these things. It’s an abdominal workout for muscles, but it also has an aerobics routine (or cardio) that is for burning calories. It’s probably fine, and if you do it consistently, you might see results. But you don’t need to spend the $$$, as a jogging program and doing bicycles (send me an e-mail if you want a couple of other ab exercises) will also do these things.
You have some extra belly fat even though you have a high metabolism, so that means that you are eating a lot, or maybe your metabolism is slowing down. To help find out, write down everything you eat in a food diary. You might also keep track of your weight and waist measurements, too, to make sure that your program is working.
You can eat 5-6 meals a day if you want (‘eat every 2 or 3 hours’ is another one I hear about), but don’t do it unless you eat very small meals. Without keeping track of how much you eat at every meal, you can gain weight using that strategy.
You don’t have much to lose, maybe as little as 5-10 pounds, which could be done in as little as 3-4 weeks. Good Luck!
