How do I permanently delete bearshare as a default search engine?
Some idiot downloaded bearshare on my compueter without telling me. They were wanting to get free music and didn’t know the consequences. Before I knew it I saw this weird search engine that I don’t even want. I deleted dearshare as a download, I erased it as a default search engine, I changed the toolbar setting where it shouldn’t even show, I’ve deleted all traces of bearshare but for some reason everytime I make a new tab BEARSHARE ALWAYS POPS UP! I hate it and my idiot friend doesn’t know what to do about it or how to change it. Can someone please help me?
I don’t know what I’ll do if I see bearshare again! DX!
Didn’t you read, I ALREADY delete the program, I ALREADY change my default search settings, I ALREADY went under tools then internet option to do all that stuff, I’ve lefy NO TRACE ON MY COMPUTER but it still pops up a my search default when I open a new tab
Have you deleted it from Computer – program files? Right click and delete.
And from the registry – type regedit into run box – allow – Hkey Local Machine -Software – Right click and delete.

Obviously you haven`t removed all trace, otherwise it wouldn`t still be there!!!
