Free Hip Hop Listening
Is there something wrong with having an interest in rap/hip hop?
I’m a suburban boy raised in a sheltered, conservative environment. I enjoy listening to rap, hip hop, and a lot of club music as a cool way to do moral rebellion against the good but kinda self-righteous environment which I’ve grown up in. I manage to get kickass grades/scores so it aint hurting that.
I’m just a free spirit. Anything wrong wit that?
no i don’t actually do or act like what they do in the videos. my parents don’t care they think it’s good cuz my grades are really really good.
i’m just displaying that just because i’m getting better grades and test scores than all of them i’m not a nerd. plus i think it sounds really cool.
