All Hip Hop Rx
What is some good French-language music for an indie-rock, indie-pop, experimental, electro fan?
I love Emilie Simon alot. Camille is kind of good. Serge Gainsbourg is interesting and I really like some of his stuff and don’t understand most of it. Yann Tierson is awesome too.
I like Daft Punk, Air, Phoenix and Zoot Woman plenty but I’d prefer something in French.
I love all kinds of music, especially music that blends a distinct genre (bossa nova, jazz, funk, hip hop, house, traditional music from any country, glam, chiptune, samba etc.)with pop or rock music and is carefully composed by the artist. If you want to get an idea of my favorites, check out Shiina Ringo (Japanese), RX Bandits, and Tom Waits.
Please show me some good French music that matches my tastes! Any prolific and talented artist (such as Serge Gainsbourgh) is also appreciated.
