Biography
Foregoing the superhero career, Chuck Hurley began plucking the guitar at the age of 12, and later moved onto the drums. Buying a Fostex 4-track, Chuck began writing songs, playing parties and events in high school, as well as some of the more "flexible" clubs and bars. In bands such as Custard Pie, Twister, Twisted Too, and Uncle Nasty, he honed his writing, recording, and performance skills. But it wasn't until he was asked to join "Julius Bloom", and later "Sukkafool" that he began to experience the rigors of the road. Dabbling into licensing and publishing, he received an inkling of success with the songs "Darwin" and "Sneaky" which appeared in the MTV weekly show "Undressed". He now plays in "DCB", an Annapolis based rock band, and writes, performs, and records the "Musical Kung-Fu" that is Chuck Hurley.
