1980 Hip Hop Designers

The Bold Messages Of Urban Clothing
The urban community is marked for its flashy and colorful clothing. The designs carry a specific message to everyone. When a person wore urban clothing in the past, people frowned at it as being rebellious and having no decency.
This however changed as celebrities of the 1980’s began to wear these clothes for their shows. Only select audience even liked their music. However, over time many urban and hip hop artists began to emerge which has forever changed the way that people perceive urban clothing.
The media has such a hold on the way people think and feel. In the past, people had a very limited concept of what self-expression as well as freedom of expression is all about. Even though they were watching different forms of violence being committed, they never voiced any of their feelings. The hip hop culture changed all of that. Hip Hop clothing proudly depicts the various problems that society is facing.
Urban clothing carrying loud messages to the public about certain offensive matters made people hate it initially. These messages usually center around discrimination, hate and war – the same issues that most people do not want to talk about and cringe at the slightest mention. It is because of urban clothing and the hip hop culture that people have become more open-minded about these issues.
The Hip Hop clothing industry has shot up in its sales over the last few years with emerging designers who have been trying to experiment with more and more personalized concepts. With this, they are able to show more of their creative talent and speak about their views on certain public messages.
Young designers, who start up small boutiques selling hip hop clothing that they have personally designed, usually end up catering to people of their age. The sales at these shops have grown incredibly over the last few years and they have soon opened up their stores in the mainstream on the design field.
Urban clothing is the clothing that has slowly evolved to become more and bolder over time. The end of it is far from near. Fashion insiders reckon that the fashion industry will grow with the urban clothing designs.
